A PEACOCK spreading its gorgeous tail mocked a Crane that passed by, ridiculing the ashen hue of its plumage and saying, "I am robed, like a king, in gold and purple and all the colors of the rainbow; while you have not a bit of color on your wings."True," replied the Crane; "but I soar to the heights of heaven and lift up my voice to the stars, while you walk below, like a cock, among the birds of the dunghill."
Moral :
Fine feathers don't make fine birds.
Reflection :This gives us a lesson that one part of a person
doesn't only reflect his/her personality or in
other words, the totality of a person's
characteristic is not only mean by just
judging or watching the person's appearance
but by looking into deeper analysis on what's
truly is inside and outside of a person's
mentality. This shows us that we must be humble
of what we have,we must not compare unto others
what we have and they don't have.
